Balmain Beauty is proud to unveil its first creation, Les Éternels de Balmain, a collection of eight bold, maximalist fragrances launched globally in September 2024. This inaugural collection of eaux de parfum is an invitation to embrace self-expression with confidence and power, with each all-gender scent exploring universal themes such as identity, inner peace, nature, love, unity, rebirth, origin, and freedom. These timeless aspirations lie at the heart of Les Éternels de Balmain, offering a fragrance experience that celebrates the universal quest of self-realization. WORK: As one of the first members of Balmain Beauty’s creative team, I played a key role in establishing brand codes and core visual assets, contributing to packaging and product design through the development of both 2D and 3D assets. Concept development and ideation helping shape the creative vision, with cross-functional collaboration across marketing, product development, and global teams to bring this vision to life.

The Les Éternels de Balmain campaign embodies the pursuit of fulfillment through eight timeless themes—identity, inner peace, nature, love, unity, rebirth, origin, and freedom—universal aspirations at the heart of Balmain Beauty. Captured through the lens of renowned photographer Carlijn Jacobs, the campaign merges art, fashion, and fragrance, redefining ultra-luxury by placing humanity at its core. Each scent tells a distinct story, brought to life through bold, juxtaposed colors that reflect the emotional depth of the Balmain Beauty universe.

The first Balmain perfume bottle, crafted in 1946, was a study in timeless simplicity—its bold black and gold contrasts and dual-faceted label symbolized duality, setting the foundation for future designs. Honoring this legacy, the modern bottle reimagines these iconic elements through a luxurious, multisensory experience. Its lozenge-shaped glass is adorned with Balmain’s signature rayure pattern, offering both visual and tactile allure. Completing the design, the PB monogram on the cap embodies the evolving journey of identity—an enduring pillar of Balmain’s vision of beauty.

These experiences immersed guests in Balmain’s vision of beauty, blending luxury, artistry, and storytelling. Contributing to the event’s success, I helped craft key collateral that elevated the experience—from printed menus and blotter cards to digital invitations and toolkits. Every detail was designed to reflect the sophistication and craftsmanship at the heart of Balmain Beauty.
